This is a decent place to get a good ~$10 burger or sandwich. Sports bar central, and is pretty hoppin during Football season. Outside of the fall, it can feel empty. I'm sure they could do away with the styrofoam cups, though. Come on, at the very least invest in those red "small town diner" plastic cups.

Wow! What a great meal! Connor was a very attentive server who made our experience phenomenal. I highly recommend this restaurant (especially the buffalo chicken wrap!) Every time I come back I’ll be sure to request Connor’s service!

Very good food & service at a good price

Having gone to FSU in the 80s, The Hobbit was a favorite among all of the students. However now, The Hobbit has changed. We did enjoy our visit there and several in our party really enjoyed the wings, however my sandwich was rather dull and I heard that from a few other people in our group as well. It's just not the place that it used to be with big fat delicious and creative sandwiches. So if you're looking to go to what it was in the past, I would say skip it because you might be disappointed.

Best sports bar in Tallahassee. Amazing place to watch a game. Wings are good but it's worth taking a look at the burgers.

Large, tasty burgers, served relatively quickly at fair prices for dinner fare. Fries are good, but unremarkable. The dining room is very loud, even if the restaurant is slow, due to the many big screen TVs and radio. The layout is designed to served as a sports bar, so it's worth checking if there are any big games or fights scheduled if you're just looking for food.

Slow service decent bar food and average atmosphere.

I just picked up my to go order that I purchased online, I live 5 minutes away, went home directly after I picked up my order, I ordered 10 wings medium, when I got home the wings were ice cold, no sauce on the wings they were dry and were over cooked, sweet potatoe fries were cold and soggy! I have never experienced this at the other Hobbit Restaurants through out Tallahassee, I’ve always recommend the Hobbit for their wings, very disappointed. I will not eat food at this Hobbit in the future.

Came in yesterday and my server Connor let me know about the Philly Cheese special and it was great, so glad he recommended it! The dollar off my Angry Orchard topped the whole thing off. Great meal with friends in a comfortable atmosphere

Great service, hot fresh food, every time. A true staple locally. Awesome selection of appetizers, entrees and drinks. Staff is friendly, management excellent, environment relaxed and social. Love sports? Well then I can't forget to mention the abundance of televisions. Bonus!!!

This place continues to go downhill each time I visit. I come hoping it will/has gotten better, but nothing worse than ordering a mild fried chicken buffalo wrap without letting and tomato...only to have my sandwich cold, no mild sauce AND have lettuce/tomato on the sandwich. At least the fries were hot...needless to say the waiter didn’t even ask to have my order remade since I said how gross it was not only cold, but with the fixing I didn’t request on the wrap. I’m typically a frequent customer here 2-3x’s a week. Time to find a new spot! If I could have given it 0 stars I would have!!

Listen the way they put their heart and soul in my wings yesterday and fried them just the way that I asked, I may have to go back today. I’d called in my order and was asked about my car description. When I pulled up they had curbside parking spots allocated for that purpose and shortly after a young lady came out, confirmed my name and took my payment. Shortly there after she came back with my card and my food and off I went. When I got back to my hotel room and I saw my wings, my mouth instantly watered. I got the hot and Carolina gold sauce on the side because I didn’t want it to make my wings soggy. I low key wish I would’ve just got Carolina gold sauce. Definitely may have to run it back some time today.

I highly believe these are the best wings in Tally, can’t go wrong with the garnet and gold dressing and if you love lemonade it’s made fresh

Great place to get wings for game day. The perimeter of the restaurant is decorated in big screen TVs, playing every sporting event you can think of. Wings are inexpensive (75 cents each) ton of flavors to choose from - Ansel Ponce Diama

I love this place. The food is always on point. The drink was Garnet and Gold Sangria.

Very very poor and slow service. Only 5 tables with customers took about 25 minutes just to get order taken. Then another 20 to get food. Had to ask twice for napkins. Never once asked about refill on drinks.This was not peak lunch hour ,was after 1pm For the price and service will never go back.

My favorite bar for darts. While there are only 4 boards, currently, the set up is great for throwing and still having access to service through the bartender(s). Food is great--the blue cheese cannot be beat! I often order a large container for dipping wings and carrots and take the rest home. Located on the college side of town, but not a completely college crowd.

I found a plastic greasy glove built into my Bradley Burger yesterday. Disgusting to think how much sweat and bacteria was in the glove that looked to be placed in there with what I thought began looking much more disgusting before I got it removed completely. -5 stars on you Hobbit!

A good American sports bar and grill with many TVs and shockingly good food. The wings are on par with just about any good wing place you could go to, and the service is adequate. That said, for a place called the Hobbit it really is just a typical sports bar, with the most middle earth themeing being a single painting and a few menu item names. Additionally the noise from the TVs is too loud, even during non-peak daytime hours.

I placed a side order of curly fries to-go and was told it would be anywhere between a 5 and 10 minute wait which was fine with me. It had been over 20 minutes and I was the only person sitting there listening for names yet they surprisingly still haven't called mine out. A nice host asked me my name and order since he noticed that I've been sitting there for a while and looked for my order. It turns out my small side order of curly fries has been sitting out there all along and for a while because it was closer to being cold than warm and the name on the receipt was "Top". I was confused but thankful that he helped me out; he asked the hostesses who took my order what happened and who gave me the name "Top" but they looked at him like they had no idea what he was talking about or that they took my order to begin with. I just didn't like how un-attentive the hostesses were and just on their phones and put a completely different name on my order.

They staff is wonderful. Wings a personal favorite and the hot n dilly basket is a must.

One of my favorite wing stops in Tallahassee. The bar is huge and offers a wide variety. This place is perfect during any sport season but be prepared and get there early during football season because they pack the place.

Went at lunch time, so there was a crowd. Service was slow and not excellent. Even with the crowd, could have been better. Expected the hawaiian burger to taste great, but was disappointed.

Worst restaurant in town. The waitress was not friendly, she never checked to see if we needed anything, didn't smile once, and was mysteriously missing for 15 minutes when we attempted to pay the check. Then she brought back the wrong change for our check. The silverware still had food on it when it was taken out of the serving napkins. We ordered fries and they came to the table cold. Will NEVER eat here again! Would give zero stars if possible.

I've never had good service here, and after the last time I'm finally done with this place. With the COVID restrictions in place I ordered curbside pick-up and the app gave me a pick-up time. Fifteen minutes after the pickup time there was still no food so I called the restaurant from my car and they said it'll be out soon. Ten minutes later I got out of my car and went in, and my order was sitting on a table by the front door. I like their food, but I can't enjoy it when I'm ticked off about the horrible service.

Went in for a late lunch 2/3/20, and was greeted warmly by the front desk as always. I was waited on by the manager, Jake and then Max. Both were very helpful with food choice advice and so personable and attentive in checking back to make sure I was taken care of. I had the grilled fish sandwich which was so good and fries cooked perfectly. I have always enjoyed coming to Hobbit whether it's lunch or happy hour drinks at the bar. Keep up the good service!

In town visiting for the Alabama State game. Great beer prices and wonderful service by Connor. Really kept up with us and had great drink suggestions.

I went there yesterday and spent last night/today unable to hold water. Was definitely food poisoning. Manager was sympathetic but not willing to accept responsibility. I think my wings were just sitting around for a bit too long. Best blue cheese in the city though.
